M and C were my first ever photoshoot way back in 2011 (can’t believe it’s been a whole decade), when I did their engagement shoot. Since then, we've done maternity and newborn shoots with them and now as their kids have grown up it was time for some new pics.

The canopy of trees and greenery at Rietvlei was simply perfect and we got some great moments. The one pic of M and J standing side by side reminds me of Onward, one of our favourite Disney films, with the brown shoes and khaki pants :)
As with Joburg weather, the sky changed about halfway and as we wrapped up it started to rain - perfect timing :) Thanks for being wonderful friends and clients, it’s always a privilege to record these moments x

I’ve been wanting to shoot at Bryanston Pine Forest for ages, and when the weather a few Sundays back was perfect I was super stoked (despite flying solo for the day as my husband had another commitment). I have so much love for this family and have captured them throughout their family evolution - maternity, newborn and now a family shoot.
Thank you for stepping over pine cones and walking through long grass and for being such collaborative clients! You guys are magic x
